Veterans Honored at Chaminade

In observance of Veterans Day, Chaminade held a prayer service at its West Hills and Chatsworth campuses on Monday, November 12, 2012. High school students gathered in West Hills for a prayer service at the flagpole. In addition a remembrance poster was placed in the Bob Hope Center, where students could write the name of someone they know who either served or is serving in the military.

In the afternoon, middle school students participated in a prayer service themed, “Honoring All Veterans.” A bagpiper played, “The Star Spangled Banner” while students carried the American flag into the DeLong Center. He later played “Amazing Grace.”

Chaminade remembers and thanks all the brave servicemen and servicewomen who have served our country.
