Dear Chaminade Families,

It is with great joy that I welcome all our families to a new school year at Chaminade! Thank you for entrusting us with the education and faith formation of your children.

This year we celebrate 65 years of Chaminade College Preparatory, as well as the Marianist bicentennial, and the founding of the Society of Mary by Blessed William Joseph Chaminade. Additionally, each year we celebrate one of the Characteristics of Marianist Education, and this year will focus on the importance and meaning of service, justice, and peace.

I am also pleased to welcome two new Marianists to our school family. Fr. Joseph Raj, S.M. and Bro. Kumar Kambhampati, S.M. come to us from India. Both are eager to serve and learn – Fr. Raj as school chaplain and Bro. Kumar as a pastoral associate. Their arrival means that Chaminade is blessed with six vowed Marianists. Fr. Ted Ley, S.M. ’58 continues to be present for Masses and retreats, and remains active in our Marianist Community.

As we go through the school year, there will be many stories to share and events to support. In addition to the various concerts and competitions you attend, you are always welcome to celebrate Mass with us at either of our campuses. You can also keep up with us online:

Please know that our faculty, staff, and administration hold your children in prayer. We look forward to a blessed and successful school year. Thank you again for choosing Chaminade!

God Bless and Go Eagles!
