President

Are you ready for the 2014-2015 school year? It’s hard to believe, but a new school year is here, and as I begin my first year as your president, I want you to know, it truly is great to be an Eagle.

Over the past week I have had the opportunity to do what I love most about working at Chaminade – spend time with our faculty and students. It is wonderful to see everyone energized and excited about our school. This year, we are welcoming 315 new families, along with 29 new employees to Chaminade.

Before teachers and students returned, we spent our summer months getting ready for this school year, and began several construction projects on our Chatsworth campus. The library expansion project and new classroom buildings are well underway, and are on schedule to be completed in 2015. Our parking lot addition and center courtyard renovation are completed and ready.

I can’t wait to see our students’ academic endeavors, their creative journeys, athletic competitions, and the spiritual growth. With 2,044 students on campus, we will have plenty of news to share, and the best way to stay informed is to:

As a 15-year Chaminade employee and the dad of two Eagles, I know many of you already, and I look forward to getting to know the rest of you. To facilitate this, I keep office hours at both our Chatsworth and West Hills campuses. Please feel free to make an appointment, or stop me if you see me on campus, at a game, or at any Chaminade event.

Blessings to you and your family as we embark on our 2014-2015 school year together!
