On Saturday, January 31, Chaminade Wrestlers competed in the Mission League Championships at Alemany High School. Eagles set a school record qualifying ten wrestlers and two alternates for the CIF tournament on February 20  and 21, at Lakeside High School in Lake Elsinore. It was a monumental day for Chaminade with four 1^st place League Champions, three silver, and three bronze medalists. Eagle wrestlers went 4-6 in ten head-to-head matches against perennial powerhouse, Bishop Amat, who is currently ranked #1 in the CIF-SS Northern Division. While coming in second in team points to Bishop Amat, Eagles dominated valley rivals beating Crespi, Harvard Westlake, and Alemany.

Alec Kohn ’15 (285 lbs.)

Alternates – Henry Zuniga ’18 (132 lbs.) and Josh Britt ’16 (145 lbs.)
