On February 10, 6th graders took a break from their usual learning routine. Instead of going to their regular 9:00 a.m. class, they headed down to the gym to see a science demonstration presented by “The Dancing Scientist.” Jeffery Vounkour, also known as “The Dancing Scientist,” specializes in getting young minds excited about science. Combining music, hip hop dancing and science experiments, Jeffery delivered an inspiring educational performance that fascinated students. “I liked how Jeff danced the robot while doing experiments,” said  Pryce Perdigao ’21.  Students had a chance to discover how to form polymers, work with acids and bases, and study air movement using an Airzuka and fog.
