Dear Chaminade Middle and High School Families,

Due to the unpredictable fire conditions resulting from the Woolsey Fire, the forecast of continued windy conditions, and the growing number in our community who are evacuated from their homes, both Chaminade campuses will close Friday, November 9. All activities scheduled for Friday are also canceled, including the production of The Crucible. We expect school to resume on Tuesday, November 13. Please check the school website for updates, including information about Saturday activities and Saturday’s performance of The Crucible.

While we understand Chaminade’s closing may create new challenges for some families, we believe it is the right decision for our school community at this time. We continue to pray for all who have been impacted, as well as those bravely fighting the fires and protecting our communities. Thanks for your understanding in this matter.
