Holy Week marks the final week of Lent as we wait in hope for Jesus’ resurrection on Saturday evening at the Easter Vigil. Contemplating on this holiest week of the year we realize that the most powerful force in this world is relationships. Jesus was all about relationships. He made building unbreakable bonds the core of His ministry. Just hours before His crucifixion, “Peter insisted emphatically, ‘Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you.’ And all the others said the same” (Mark 14:31).
Relationships are the defining feature of being created in the image of God and of being human. As our world struggles with developing and protecting human relationships, we are grateful for all of you for making family spirit central in our Chaminade culture.
As a family, let us continue to take new practical steps towards developing an atmosphere where personal, deepening, supportive, and faith-building relationships are highly valued as expressions of our passion for God’s love.
