On May 15, Chaminade celebrated the commitment and service of our incredible volunteers at the annual Volunteer Recognition Reception. Volunteers help make Chaminade a better place. They truly demonstrate the Marianist tradition of family spirit through their selfless giving of time and talent. Volunteers are an important part of Chaminade’s operations and are instrumental to the success of many of our programs and events. From large and exciting events like the Chaminade Gala Benefit & Auction to the smaller, less glamorous envelope stuffing parties, our volunteers do it all.
Chaminade recognized nine extraordinary volunteers who have their last child graduating from the high school. Their commitment to Chaminade over the last four to seven years have had an astounding effect on our school. Congratulations to our 2019 Spotlight on Service honorees:

- Beth Albrecht P ’14 ’16 ’19
- Rosalind Auzenne Odabashian P ’10 ’19
- Ani Avanessian P ’17 ’19

- Joani McQuaid P’19

In addition to honoring our amazing parent volunteers, Chaminade also paid tribute to three Board members who are terming off the board at the end of the month. For the last six years, these individuals have volunteered their time and expertise to help ensure that our school upholds our Catholic, Marianist mission and runs effectively and efficiently. Chaminade expresses its sincere gratitude to Tom Condon ’56, Howard Lind P’16 ’17, and Gerry Philpott P’15, ’19.
