Every summer, the Chaminade Center for Excellence offers programs designed to inspire, engage, and empower young minds. These goals are central to our mission and focus on developing a child-centered experience where campers are engaged in becoming self-directed learners, leading to empowerment.
For this upcoming summer, we have created several new classes that will be part of our Ste[+a]m and Great Books Academies. We are sure that these new offerings will challenge and inspire students to learn new things but in fun and exciting ways. We strive to have our campers tap into their exploratory nature to keep them discovering – for years to come. These two summer academies empower students to adopt a creative mindset through compelling activities, projects, and problems that build upon each other and relate to the world around them.
Summer is also an excellent time for students of all ages to pursue their creative passions in visual and performing arts. Campers of all ages can discover new passions and unlock their imaginations through workshops, and intensives such as circus camp, dance camps, musical theater, and filmmaking.
Children, ages 5 to 15, can also join our Sports Camps and explore athletics from football to basketball as well as soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, fencing, and more. The West Hills campus also hosts Varsity Camps which gives students the chance to work with Chaminade’s varsity head coaches, players, and former athletes with college and professional experience.
Give your child the skills they need to be successful. Enroll them in one of the summer enrichment academies at Chaminade College Preparatory where they can engage in hands-on activities in science, literature, writing, language, math, art and more. They will become creative, collaborative problem solvers and critical thinkers all while making friends and having great summer fun! Register today at chaminade.org/centerforexcellence.
