Eagles Defeat Seraphs

IMG_9921The Eagle football season has kicked off, and Chaminade won its home opener against St. Bonaventure on Friday night. A 49-7 victory, the game was a decisive win for the Eagles, and puts them at 1-1 for the season.

Next up, Chaminade faces Valenica on Friday, September 9 at home. The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. at Booster Stadium.

Chaminade Student Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent

On Signing Day, five Chaminade seniors signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) and committed to playing football at universities in California, Washington, and Missouri.

Chaminade Heads to Playoffs

Chaminade moves to the playoffs after a 38-21 victory over Serra in its final regular-season game. The Eagles were awarded an at-large berth and will travel to Corona on Friday, November 13, to face defending Pac-5 champion Corona Centennial High School in the first round.

Chaminade Beats Crespi 48-0

Football OctoberOn Friday, October 30, Chaminade faced Mission League rival Crespi. Starting the night strong, Chaminade scored 28 points in the first half. Crespi lost all hopes for a comeback when Chaminade scored three more touchdowns in the second half for a final score of 48-0.

Chaminade Beats Notre Dame 27-22

On Friday, October 16, Chaminade traveled to Notre Dame to face the Knights for their Homecoming. Notre Dame had the lead for most of the game. In the fourth quarter, Dymond Lee threw a 12-yard touchdown giving Chaminade its first lead of the game. Chaminade made its final and winning touchdown when T.J. Pledger ran in for 12 yards with six minutes left in the game.

Notre Dame made every attempt to come back only to find Chaminade’s defense breaking their passes. The final score was 27-22 Chaminade.

Next, the Chaminade faces Bishop Amat. The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. PDT at Booster Stadium.
