As the semester ended for Chaminade students on Wednesday, December 20, five football players signed a National Letter of Intent to play NCAA Division I football. These five seniors will go on to play football at the collegiate level after they graduate from Chaminade in 2018:
Ed Croson, Chaminade College Preparatory’s head football coach, has been nominated as 2017 Los Angeles Rams High School Coach of the Year! The Rams will announce the winner on December 31, 2017, when they host the San Francisco 49ers.
Eagle fans have until Friday, December 22 to cast their vote online and help Coach Croson win the award for Coach of the Year.
For their first game in China, the Chaminade Boy’s Varsity Basketball team faced off against Beijing #4, and came away with a 66-59 win. This puts the team at 4-2 on the season.
The basketball team traveled to Beijing for the International Youth Basketball Spectacular over the weekend. Before the tournament began, they had the opportunity visit the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and learn how to make dumplings.
On Sunday, November 19, Chaminade College Preparatory welcomes families to Open House. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about our high school program, which combines a rigorous academic curriculum with robust course offerings and extra-curricular activities. Open House will be held at our West Hills campus from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Cate Mackel ’18 signed her National Letter of Intent on November 8. She will play lacrosse at Elon University in North Carolina.
