Chaminade Welcomes 29 Chinese Students

In March, Bro. Tom Fahy and Rob Webb took Chaminade on the road to China and began the school’s journey to building an international program. Four and a half months later, their hard work is realized as Chaminade welcomes 29 Chinese students to its Chatsworth and West Hills campuses.

The students, who are in Grade 8-11, will stay with host families during the school year, most of whom are Chaminade families. The students arrived the week of August 5, and have begun to settle into their Southern California lives. To get ready for the upcoming year they are doing things like picking up their uniforms and phones, setting up bank accounts, and taking math placement tests. Next week they will go through Chaminade’s usual LINK and orientation programs with other students.

Chaminade College Preparatory extends a warm welcome to its news students from China, and looks forward to this next school year.
