Alumnus Drew Miller ’12 qualifies for U.S. Amateur Championship

Chaminade alumnus, Drew Miller ’12, qualified for the 113th U.S. Amateur Championship. According to amateurgolf.com, “Drew Miller shot rounds of 72-71 to take co- medalist alongside Mark Anguiano at the Saticoy Country Club qualifier.” Miller is a sophomore at Santa Clara University.

The 113th U.S. Amateur Championship will be held August 12-18 at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts. The U.S. Amateur Championship is the oldest golf championship in this country, one day older than the U.S. Open, and is the most coveted of all amateur titles.
