A Homecoming Win for the Eagles

The Chaminade Eagles won a hard fought Homecoming game against the Loyola Cubs, 24-7. The win takes the Eagles to 5-0 for the season and 1-0 in Mission League play.

Loyola struck first with a touchdown on their first drive of the game and led Chaminade, 7-3 at the half. Then Eagles went on to outscore the Cubs, 24-0; all three touchdowns were scored in the second half of the game. Up next for Chaminade is an away game at Alemany High School on Thursday, October 2

Homecoming festivities included a festive midway of food booths, staffed by student and parent volunteers. One of the booths was staffed by Wendy’s, who generously supported Homecoming activities.

During halftime, Chaminade crowned its Homecoming queen, Paris Todd ’15. The Homecoming king, Alex Mansour ’15 was announced earlier in the week at a rally.
