The Eagles held onto a 28-20 lead through the fourth quarter in their game against Bakersfield High School, and captured their third win of the season. With 26 seconds left on the clock, the Drillers fumbled the ball on the two-yard line. Chaminade recovered and secured the victory in Coach Ed Croson’s hometown of Bakersfield.

Chaminade Football is on the road again next week. On Friday, September 23 they travel to Gardena for their first Mission League match-up of the season against Serra. Kick off is at 7:00 p.m.
