After a 179-mile bus ride and four quarters of play, the Chaminade Eagles moved on to the CIF Southern Section Western Division semifinals with a 61-7 victory over Morro Bay High School. Chaminade (11-1) faces off against Mission League rival, Cathedral High School (10-2). The Eagles host the Phantoms at home (Boosters Stadium, West Hills), and the game kicks off at 7:00 p.m.
